NegosyoHub ("we," "us," or "our") operates the NegosyoHub web application at app.negosyohub.com and the NegosyoHub POS mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Name and email address
  • Password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text)
  • Business name, type, and address
  • Google account information (if you sign in with Google)

Business Data

  • Orders, services, and pricing information
  • Customer names and phone numbers
  • Inventory records
  • Staff accounts and branch information
  • SMS message templates and logs

Device & Usage Information

  • Device type, operating system, and app version
  • IP address and browser type (web app)
  • Usage patterns and feature interactions
  • Crash reports and performance data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your orders, customers, and business data
  • Send transactional communications (account verification, password resets, service updates)
  • Provide customer support
  • Generate analytics and reports within your dashboard
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data or business data to third parties.

4. SMS Permissions (Mobile App)

The NegosyoHub POS mobile app requests the SEND_SMS permission to send order status notifications and promotional messages to your customers directly from your device. SMS messages are sent through your device's native SMS functionality using your own SIM card and carrier plan.

  • SMS is only sent when explicitly triggered by your staff through the app
  • We do not send SMS messages on your behalf without user action
  • Message content is based on templates you configure
  • SMS costs are billed by your mobile carrier, not by NegosyoHub

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Your data is stored on secure servers powered by Supabase with TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest
  • Row-level security ensures each business can only access its own data — no exceptions
  • The mobile app stores data locally on your device for offline functionality. Local data is synced to the cloud when internet connectivity is restored.
  • We perform regular automated backups of all data
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We may share your information only in the following cases:

  • Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (web hosting), Google (OAuth authentication). These providers process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not share your business data (orders, customers, inventory) with any third party for their own purposes.

7. Data Retention

  • Your data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • If you cancel your subscription, your account is paused and data is preserved. You can reactivate anytime.
  • You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us
  • Upon deletion request, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a standard format
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
